My ARK at the till

Everything you do with the app, on one page.

📲 1. Invite every customer

•Ask: "Do you have My ARK? $15 on your first visit, 10% off every time after, and coins back on everything."
•In the store: + New member here on your phone (one step). Your QR card / link is for people who join LATER, outside the store - both count for you.
•Target: 10 verified sign-ups a week. Monday's report in GM & MP shows everyone's number.

🪪 2. Customer IN THE STORE: + New member here (one step)

•Open my-ark-xi.vercel.app/staff (ARK Operations login) and tap the big orange + New member here at the top. Never the QR for someone standing in front of you.
•Hand them your phone: first name, mobile, email, a password, one tick (Terms + 21 or older).
•Check a real ID: name matches, 21+. Tick "I checked the ID" and tap Create verified member. Done: verified, linked to Lightspeed by their mobile, $15 in coins.
•Tell them: open my-ark-xi.vercel.app on their own phone, Sign in with that email + password, Add to Home Screen.
•Before they leave: help them turn on notifications (MAU 29 Oct). Open My ARK from the new icon > Turn on notifications > Allow. iPhone only allows it from the icon, never in Safari. Members-only drops and Talk to Owner posts reach only phones with it on; the till shows a 🔔 line when it is off.

📱 3. Joined OUTSIDE (your QR / link): first visit at the till

•Tab Till: type their MOBILE NUMBER (or scan their code). Check the ID: name matches, 21+.
•Tick "I checked the ID", Verify. Now their purchases earn ARK Coin.
•Already verified but the app says "One step left"? Find them the same way and tap Link / confirm.

🧾 4. Every sale

•Attach the customer to the sale in Lightspeed - no customer, no coins, no visit.
•Coins show the next morning: 5% back (Insider 7%, ARK Black 10%). Every $25+ sale is a visit on their card - tell members close to $25 what would get them there.
•Coins: purchase coins stay while the member visits at least every 30 days; welcome coins last 7 days (use the $15 this week!), bonus coins 30 days. Remind them!
•Visit card: stamps count for 90 days; a ready $5/$10 must be used within 30 days - the screen shows the date.

💳 5. Discounts: only what the screen says

•Scan the member's code. The screen names the discount; you apply exactly that in Lightspeed, customer attached. Nothing else, ever.
•"Member price" = ARK Member 10%, any number of items. "ARK Black" = ARK Black 15% instead. "Visit 5 / 10" = tap, then ARK Visit $5 / $10 on the WHOLE sale (on a line it comes off every unit).
•ARK Coin: type the amount due (after discounts), tap Spend, then in Payment pick ARK Coin for exactly the amount shown and take the rest by card or cash. It is a payment, not a discount. Whole coins, up to half the sale.
•ONE DISCOUNT PER ITEM, NEVER STACKED (MAU 26 Oct): items on a deal (BOGO, buy 3 get 1, clearance) keep the deal and get no member %. The member / Founder / Black / Family % goes on every OTHER item as an item discount, not on the whole sale. ARK Visit $5 / $10 and ARK Coin still apply on the total. A sale is a visit when it is $25+ after all discounts, before tax (coins do not lower it).
•"Founder" = ARK Founder 15% instead of the member price (first 100 verified members per store, during their first 90 days; the screen stops showing it after that).
•"Family & Friends" (green) = ARK Family 25% on the whole sale, instead of every other member discount. Only MAU puts people on it.
•Not on My ARK = full price, no exceptions. Say: "Join My ARK, it takes two minutes and you get 10% every visit."
•A regular who hesitates: "Join now and you are a Founder - 15% off every visit for your first 90 days, plus $15 to start." (while the store's 100 Founder spots last)
•Undo within 15 minutes if you picked the wrong one. One reward per purchase.

⭐ 6. Levels: what to tell customers

•Member: join + ID check. 10% off every visit, 5% back in coins, $15 welcome, visit card.
•Friends: a friend counts when they join with the member's code and make ONE purchase of $25+ (one receipt, purchases do not add up): 5 coins each.
•Insider: spend $300 in the last 90 days OR bring 5 friends (90 days). Not for sale. 10% off + 7% back, birthday 7 coins.
•ARK Black: spend $600 in the last 90 days OR bring 10 friends (90 days) OR pay $9.99 a month (first 100, then $14.99 - ask the manager). 15% off + 10% back, birthday 10 coins, free events.
•Old SumUp customers: when they join, their SumUp points come over by themselves (50 points = 1 coin, up to 20 coins, good for 30 days), and big SumUp spenders start as Insider or ARK Black for their first 90 days. Nothing to do at the till.
•Re-checked every day on the last 90 days. Never promise a level or perk the app does not show.

💬 7. Chats

•Tab Chats: unread first. Answer within 10 minutes - that is what the app promises the customer. Reply as the store; your name shows.
•Amber = held (phone number, selling, under-21 sign). Allow or Block; ask the GM when unsure.
•Mark Done when answered. Never share phone numbers or take payments in chat.

🎉 8. Events

•Managers, tab Posts: "Drop with first look" announces new products - ARK Black see it now, Insider a day early, everyone at the time you set.
•Tab Posts: events are listed under the posts. Managers create them; members RSVP in the app.
•At the event, tap Door QR and show it at the entrance (or print it). Members scan it to check in.
•Check-in works from 1 hour before to 1 hour after; verified members get the event points once.

🗳️ 9. Member voice (managers)

•Tab Voice: send a quick poll, see visit ratings (private), and work the idea board.
•Mark ideas On the way / Done / Decline with a short note - members see it. Held ideas wait for you.
•Photos: members' own profile photos wait in Voice until you Approve or Reject. Reject anything that is not a plain photo of the member.
•Keep every poll and note product-neutral.

⚠️ Never verify without checking a real ID. Under 21 = no account, no exceptions. Something odd? Tell your GM.
